Meet John Waelde
A Greenville native, John Waelde has dedicated his career to helping individuals and families navigate life's most challenging legal situations. He earned his undergraduate degree from the University of South Carolina and later graduated from the University of South Carolina School of Law, where he served as Publications Editor for the South Carolina Journal of International Law and Business. His passion for helping others was shaped through experiences such as the Carolina Health Advocacy Medicolegal Partnership (CHAMPS) Clinic, where he worked alongside healthcare professionals to serve low-income families across South Carolina.
Throughout his career, John has represented injured victims and their families, served as a prosecutor for Greenville County, and gained extensive courtroom experience advocating for clients and seeking justice. He also served as the first Chief Deputy Clerk of Court for Greenville County, providing him with a unique understanding of the legal system from both inside and outside the courtroom. Today, he combines that diverse experience with a client-focused approach, helping individuals and families navigate probate matters, estate planning, personal injury claims, and criminal cases with confidence and clarity.
As the founder of Perennial Law Firm, John believes every client deserves an attorney who will listen, communicate openly, and work tirelessly to protect their interests. His mission is simple: provide high-quality legal representation while treating every client with the respect, compassion, and personal attention they deserve.
